Dr. del Pozo graduated from the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas-Venezuela in 1995. In 2002, he received his Ph.D. in Dental Sciences and Certificate of Orthodontics from Hiroshima University with a scholarship from the Japanese government. He has also received a Recognition of Excellence from the university Hiroshima University. He runs a private practice in Medellin, Colombia.
Dr. Lin is a clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Taipei Medical University, is a past president of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists and maintains a private orthodontic practice. Dr. Lin has published “Creative Orthodontics, Blending the Damon System and TADs to Manage Difficult Malocclusions.”, 1st edition 2007, 2nd edition 2010, 3rd edition 2017. “Class III Correction Orthodontics”, 1st edition 2013.
Dr. Lin has given four lectures in the American Association of Orthodontists, and also has given lectures for over 27 countries.
Dr. Ruangrat Komolpis graduated from Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University with first class honor and gold medal award. She received her master degree in orthodontics from the University of Michigan and was on teaching staff at Michigan for a few years after graduation. Dr. Komolpis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and her ABO cases were selected for the 2013 ABO Case Display. She is also a Diplomate of the Thai Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Komolpis is an AAO International Ambassador of the American Association of Orthodontists and currently is the president elect of the Thai Association of Orthodontists. Apart from being in three private practices in Bangkok, Thailand, Dr. Komolpis is also a part time lecturer at Chulalongkorn University and a guest speaker locally and internationally.
Asst. Prof. Pintu-on Chantarawaratit works as a lecturer in the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand since 2008. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with second-class honors from Chulalongkorn University in 2003. Dr. Chantarawaratit worked as a junior lecturer in Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University for 3 years and then attended the master’s degree in Chulalongkorn University. After completing her Master of Science in Orthodontics, she earned her PhD in Dental Biomaterials from the same university in 2012 and then received her Thai Board of Orthodontics in 2017.
Her main research interests are in the areas of biomaterials and dental materials in both biological and mechanical aspects. Recently, she has focused on the corrosion of metal orthodontic appliances and the design of orthodontic miniscrew implants. As a researcher, she received the IADR/Unilever Award (SEA division) in 2013 and the T.M. Graber Outstanding Article Award in 2022.
In addition, Dr. Chantarawaratit is a committee of the Thai Association of Orthodontists and an editorial committee of the Journal of the Dental Association of Thailand.
Dr. Janeta Chavanavesh graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. She received her master’s degree and higher graduate in Orthodontics from the Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University in 2015 and 2016 respectively. After that, she received her Thai Board of Orthodontics from The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Thailand. In 2018, she was qualified as a Doctor of Philosophy equivalency. She has been on the teaching staff at the Orthodontic department, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University since her graduation. During her time as a lecturer, she has published several articles both nationally and internationally. For example, she has published her articles in J Dent Assoc Thai in 2021, RSU National Research Conference in 2021, and KKU The 21st National Graduate Research Conference in 2020.
Dr. Pimsiri Kanpittaya graduated from Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University with honor in 2009. She received her Master of Science and higher graduate diploma in Orthodontics from Chulalongkorn University in 2012 and 2013, respectively. She is also a diplomate of the Thai Board of Orthodontics since 2017. For academic achievements, Dr. Pimsiri had presented E-poster in the 113th AAO Annual session: American Association of Orthodontist (AAO) at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America in 2013. Additionally, her another study about remineralization of enamel hypoplasia is proceeding.
Dr. Nicha Ungvijanpunya graduated from Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University with first class honor and gold medal award in 2013. She was the recipient of Anandamahidol Foundation Scholarship in 2015. In 2018, she completed both her master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology and a certificate in Orthodontics from University of Southern California, USA. Dr. Nicha is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2019, and further received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from University of Southern California in 2021. In the field of her academic achievements, Dr. Nicha has internationally published 4 papers in Scopus Indexed Journals, including the Journal of Dental Research in 2018, Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry in 2020, Cell Reports in 2020, and recently the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2022.
Dr. Thanit Charoenrat received his DDS. with second class honor from Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University in 2009. In 2014, he also received his higher graduate diploma in clinical sciences from Chulalongkorn University and he has been a Diplomate of the Thai Board of Orthodontics since 2016. His interest field are orthognathic surgery, surgery first approach and biomechanics. Dr. Thanit Charoenrat was a part time lecturer at Chulalongkorn University from 2009 to 2019. Since 2019, he has been a full-time lecturer at Chulalongkorn University and a guest speaker locally.
